So tomorrow I have my first ever Midwives Apprenticeship interview! I am over the moon excited about it :) I am hoping that we are a match so I can begin living my dream sooner rather than later. This Midwife is the only one close enough to my home that I could Apprentice for without HUGE amounts of travel time. I'm enjoying all the connections I've made working as a Doula but find myself wanting so much more than what being a Doula entails. I'm continuing on with my education toward becoming an RN so that I can then become a CNM. Slowly working toward my dream, one day at a time. I just hope one of the nannies I'm interviewing next week will work out. :)

Such an exciting time! If for some reason it doesn't work out, things will be fine and you'll understand eventually. I'm sending you lots of thoughts and hope everything falls into place as you'd like.
I can't even imagine what it must be like to help deliver babies!
I love, love, LOVE that you are pursuing your dream. You're so right ... "one day at a time," and you'll be there before you know it. You're already closer than when you started! :D
